Attention PC gamers. EA wants to say a little thank you to you for pre-ordering Need For Speed: Shift. But how will they do this, you ask? Simple.
Pre-order Need For Speed: Shift from the EA Store and you’ll be given “exclusive access to the Porsche Cayman S when the game releases on September 18th”.
However, we’re not entirely sure what’s so exclusive about it. From what we’ve been told previously, the Cayman S is one of the many cars that you’ll be able to get behind the wheel of when progressing through Shift’s campaign, regardless of whether you pre-order it or not.
Given the “You must complete your first race in Career Mode before unlocking this car” warning, we presume it just unlocks itself earlier than normal, while everyone else is driving around in relatively slower, yet still super quick cars.
So if you fancy early access to the car, head on over to EA Store, lay down the £29.99 asking price and get ready to Shift.

Interesting, but I think no one will preorder the game without test a demo version first, even considering it’s the SMS doing the game instead of Blackbox.
